Flint City Derby Girls

So I have been doing Roller Derby for 4 months. Not nearly long enough to master it... but, I will keep trying! I skate for the Flint City Derby Girls and so far it is a blast. We are a new team trying to get ourselves established so we can start bouting! We need enough girls to take it seriously though... We have quite a few of girls that religiously show up for practice and they are great... We just need a few more girls to make the team! We have to get our USARS (Insurance for sports) and we need to be a league under WFTDA standards. We need more publicity and we definately need sponsors. I have attended a by-laws meeting and plan to attend another this week... and we need our by-laws set and ready in order to even have something to offer as far as sponsors go...*humph* We will get there... Hopefully sooner than later. We are shootin to bout by spring.. I hope that is still the plan.
